About Us

SkiWeekends are one of the UK's largest providers of short break ski holidays to most of the major ski resorts across the Alps.

We have been organising tailor-made, flexible ski trips to the slopes for over 35 years. Our aim is to help you ski when you like, for as long as you like, to some of the best and well-known ski areas in Europe. Put simply, we want to help you ski the best for less. Whether that is a 3, 4 or 7 night catered chalet break, or a flexible hotel stay, we simply make it happen.

Our Ski Experts have - collectively - over 120 years experience of skiing in the Alps. We know where to go, when to go, the best places to stay, the best restaurants and the best runs. History

SkiWeekends was born on the 21st December 1989. Starting out as Harris Holidays, our first ski trips were initially long weekends by coach to France, which were a huge success thanks to their simplicity and value. This was our core our business for over 20 years.

Around the turn of the Millenium the brand became SkiWeekends. In 2004 the business changed hands, and was bought by a passionate skier Will Sadler as part of his wider group of companies, including Banks Sadler International, one of the world's largest corporate hospitality specialists - this was the real start of Ski Weekends as you know it today.

Our first ski resorts were Chamonix, Verbier and Zermatt, with a focus on great value hotels that enabled our customers to "Ski The Best For Less". In 2007 Dan Fox, the current Managing Director, took over the running of the business and gradually took full ownership along with Sarah Fox in 2015.

In 2011 we added our first chalets, which are still the cornerstone of what we offer. Then in early 2020, Brexit - swiftly followed by the Covid outbreak - decimated the ski industry. It was a brutal time for everyone - companies, staff and customers - but we survived thanks to a truly great team and sheer will power from us, partners, tourist boards & accommodation providers to enable you - the customer - to get back to the slopes.

We are proud of the 5* Feefo Platinum service we deliver, from our Ski Experts who are there to create the holiday you want, our post sales team who make sure it happens, and our overseas team who endure you are looked after throughout your chalet stay.

Our mantra Be Happy Ski More is at the heart of what we do, we believe in maximising your ski time and delivering great value ski holidays. When asked we do it, the answer is actually very simple: "to help make people happy" by maximising their time on the slopes.
