Hotel das Gastein guests have unlimited access to the bathing and sauna areas of the thermal spa in Bad Hofgastein. After check-in at the reception, guests receive free guest tickets, at the thermal spa ticket office a deposit should only be paid for the data clock. With this data clock, holidaymakers can come and go as they please during the opening hours of the Alpentherme Gastein. Only after the last visit to the thermal baths do you have to go back to the ticket office for check-out.

Guests can soak up the sun from the balconies of their rooms or on the spacious sunbathing lawn, whether it's summer or winter. The terrace provides a perfect spot to unwind with a fruity cocktail in summer or a hot mulled wine in winter.  As well as free use of the Alpentherme spa the hotel also has its own in house spa facilities with Finnish sauna, steam room, quiet room, sun terrace & infrared cabin.  Massage treatments are available and payable at the hotel.

The Hotel Das Gastein is located next to the thermal parklands (Kurpark) in a quiet yet central location.

• Distance to piste: The hotel is either a 15 minute walk to the main Schlossalm gondola, or a 7-minute ski bus ride (the bus stop is 100m from the hotel)
• Distance to resort centre: You can reach Bad Hofgastein centre with a 10 - 15 minute walk, through the lovely park
• Distance to ski hire shop: SkiSet Skirental Berglift is located on Bundesstraße, next to the Schlossalm gondola

Rooms at the Hotel Das Gastein offer a great panoramic view, large windows, lots of light and sun to create a cozy, homely atmosphere.

Comfort Double - 2 people (23 m²), some with balcony, view of the Gastein mountains or the spa gardens. Equipped with flat screen TV, telephone, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, bathroom (with shower and hairdryer) mostly separated from the toilet.

Triple rooms for 2 adults & 1 child (Up to 10 years old) with an additional single bed.

Resort tax is paid locally and is approximately €3.50 per person, per day (from 15 years old).

You can arrive any day at the Hotel das Gastein with SkiWeekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations.

Check In: available from 3pm.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 11am.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Salzburg Airport with us, it will drop you right at the door of the hotel.

Travelling to Bad Hofgastein by train also works well, with a journey time of around 1 hour 45 minutes from Salzburg Airport.
