In the shadow of the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain, the Hotel Kärntnerhof is a wonderful family run hotel that has recently undergone a complete renovation.

The renovation has resulted in the perfect mix of long-standing tradition and a modern alpine look. With newly renovated rooms throughout, and stylish bar and restaurant, guests will find a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant offers Carinthian cuisine with regional products and with half board guests will enjoy breakfast and a 4-course evening meal with a choice of mains. Complimentary drinks are included during evening meals with beer on tap, house wine, tea/coffee & soft drinks.

Wellness enthusiasts can relax and unwind in the panoramic indoor pool, a Finnish sauna or a herbal sauna. There is also an infrared cabin and a steam bath. To cool off afterwards, there is Kneipp zone in the Möll, which is the stream that runs through the hotel grounds.  The spacious relaxation area with bright colours and plenty of natural light invites you to unwind.

Location

The ski bus stops right next to the hotel and takes guests to the valley station and back again. The centre of Heiligenblut is a 10min uphill stroll from the hotel
The cross-country ski trail, the ice-skating rink and the toboggan run are in the immediate vicinity. You can rent the toboggans for tobogganing fun directly from the hotel.
