Hotel Alpen Roc

The rooms at the Hotel Alpen Roc are a designed in a combination of wood and soft, calm tones and all rooms have an ensuite bathroom, TV, WiFi and safe.

The hotel has its own restaurant, a lounge bar with a cosy fireplace and outdoor sun terace. Your Ski Weekends will be either bed & breakfast or half board with an added all inclusive element:

Bed & Breakfast

• Buffet breakfast served between 7am and 10am
• Drinking fountains (sodas, wine, beer, hot drinks) from 10am to 10.50pm
• Goûter (cake, brioche) from 4pm
• An aperitif at the bar (with or without alcohol) from 6pm and 10.50pm

Half Board

• Buffet breakfast served between 7am and 10am
• Drinking fountains (sodas, wine, beer, hot drinks) from 10am to 10.50pm
• Goûter (cake, brioche) from 4pm
• An aperitif at the bar (with or without alcohol) from 6pm and 10.50pm
• Buffet dinner between 7pm to 9pm (with wine, soft drinks)

For your relaxation, at the end of your day skiing, there is a modern wellness area with mountain views and you will have the benefit of free access to the small swimming pool, hammam, jacuzzi and sauna.

The Alpen Roc Hotel is located in the centre of La Clusaz.

• Distance to piste: The hotel is a short 2-3 minute walk to the Cret du Merle ski lift
• Distance to resort centre: the hotel is in the centre, approximately 3 - 4 minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants
• Distance to ski hire shop: SkiSet Sport Boutique is located on Route des Grand Alpes, a 3 minute walk away

All 108 rooms have ensuite bathroom, ususally a shower over a bath, hairdryer, safe, satellite TV and free WiFi access.

Double/twin room - 2 people, double or twin beds (request when booking), from 20m²
Triple room - 3 people, double or twin beds (request when booking) with extra bed, from 20m²

Family room - 2 adults, 2 children (under 12), double bed plus bunks, from 20m²

Quadruple room - 4 people, 2 seperate sleeping areas with double or twin beds (request when booking), 30 to 40m² 

Shared transfers will take SkiWeekends guests to the Bus Station in La Clusaz, Gare Routiere. From here you will need to make own way to and from the hotel.  You would take the No. 1, 7 or 8 bus to the first stop, 'Les Houches', outside the hotel.  If you choose to walk from the Bus Station, is is approximately 8 minutes.

The hotel reception is open 24 hours.

Resort tax paid locally and is approximately €1.60 per person, per day (€1.70 per person, per day after 1st Jan 2025).

You can arrive any day at the Alpen Roc Hotel (apart from Saturdays) with SkiWeekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations.

Check In: available from 4pm. There is a luggage storage area where you can leave your bags if you arrive early.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 11am.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Geneva Airport with us, it will drop you at the bus station in La Clusaz, NOT at the hotel. The bus station is an 8 minute walk or 2 minute taxi from the Alpen Roc Hotel.
