Hotel Base Camp Lodge

The hotel is friendly, welcoming and contemporary, with touches that create a modern Alpine feel. The quirky Lounge Bar has a friendly atmosphere where you can purchase finger food from the all day snack menu, cheese or charcuterie boards or in the evening, enjoy an aperitif, cocktails, wine and beer. There are often DJ sets or live music in the evenings, where you can relax and chat about your day on the slopes. For your ease, there is satellite TV and free WiFi in the bedrooms and public areas. With 29 regular hotel rooms plus hostel style dormitories Base Camp Lodge offers great value accommodation in Les Deux Alpes.

You'll be staying on a bed & breakfast basis with SkiWeekends, which includes a continental breakfast with a wonderful array of hot and cold dishes, sweet and savoury, created to set you up for an amazing day on the mountains. Should you choose to upgrade to Half Board, you will enjoy three course evening meals in the cosy restaurant, with an amazing south facing terrace and wonderful mountain views. You will dine at banquet tables and enjoy tasty cuisine made with seasonal, local produce.

The Base Camp Lodge Hotel is located in the centre of Les Deux Alpes, on the main street.

• Distance to piste/lifts: the hotel is a 4 minute walk to the Diable lift
• Distance to resort centre: the hotel is in the resort centre, and moments from shops, bars, cafes and restaurants
• Distance to ski hire shop: SkiSet Les Clarines is located on Rue du Rouchas Les Clarines, a 5 minute walk from the hotel

The hotel offers comfortable bedrooms and suites that reflect the spirit of the mountains. All of the 29 rooms have a bathroom with either bath or shower and a separate WC, double beds (160x200), twin beds are available on request when booking, satellite TV, views of mountain or village, some rooms have a balcony.

Versant Nord -  2 people, double (twin on request), bathroom with shower, view of the village, 13msq  

Versant Sud - 2 people, double (twin on request), bathroom with shower, balcony with view over the mountains, 18msq

Cordee Suite - 2 to 4 people, double (twin on request), bathroom with shower, plus additional sleeping area with sofa bed for 2 persons, balcony, 32sqm

Master Suite Muzelle - 2 to 7 people, double (twin on request) with balcony, living room with  sofabed for 2 persons, bathroom
and separate toilet;  upstairs, a second double bedroom, sleeping area with single bed, shower with separate wc and balcony, 64msq    

Tribu/Family - 3 to 4 people, with two configuration options:

• Two connected double rooms (twin on request), with bath or shower and separate toilet, some rooms have a balcony, 33msq OR
• One double room connected to a  room with sofa bed,  with bath or shower and separate toilet, some rooms have a balcony, 33msq

There is a luggage store and gym at the hotel.

Children are welcome, cots are free - it is possible to place an extra bed in some rooms at an additional cost, both upon request and if available. Babysitting service subject to the same terms.

Resort tax paid locally and is per person, per day €1.65 (under 18s Free of charge).

You can arrive any day at the Hotel Base Camp Lodge with SkiWeekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations.

Check In: available from 5pm.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 10am.

There is a bag store at the hotel if you arrive early or have a late flight on your departure day, giving you the chance to maximise your ski time.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Grenoble or Lyon Airport with us, the transfer bus will NOT drop you at the hotel door. It will drop you at the Telesiege du Diable (a 4 minute walk to the hotel).
