Hotel Mooserkreuz

There are 43 bedrooms at the Mooserkreuz Hotel, all of which are traditionally styled and offer en-suite facilities, TV, free WiFi and a hairdryer.

You'll be hosted on a half board basis with Ski Weekends, which includes an extensive buffet breakfast and a 5 course evening meal with a choice of main course. The restaurant is renowned for incredible food; the family bring both Italian and Austrian influences to the menu, and many guests come back year after year knowing they are going to get good food, comfortable accommodation with transport arrangements to get to them to and from the slopes and the bars, at a great price in St Anton.

The Hotel Mooserkreuz is perfect for couples, friends or groups who are looking for an affordable option to stay in St Anton.

All in all, we think the Mooserkreuz is one of the best hotels in St. Anton for the price, food and facilities.

The Mooserkreuz Hotel is located in an elevated position, 1km West of the centre of St. Anton, and runs its own private shuttle (everyday between 8:30am - 11am and 3:30pm - 5pm).

• Distance to piste/lifts: the hotel is a 3 minute bus ride to the Rendlbahn gondola, which is a 2 minute walk from the Galzigbahn, which gives you the best access to the huge Arlberg SkiCircus.
• Distance to resort centre: You can reach St. Anton centre in 4 mins by ski bus (or a 15 minute walk downhill)
• Distance to ski hire shop: SkiSet - Galzig is located next to the Galzigbahn gondola (3 mins by ski bus and 2 mins walk)

The hotel rooms are comfortable to relax in and each is individually furnished, most have balconies with great views.

Twin room (approx. 15-25m²) - sleeps 1-2: Austrian twin bed, private bath or shower and WC.

Twin room (approx. 25-30m²) - sleeps 1-3: Austrian twin bed, extra single adult sofa bed when booked for three, private bath or shower, WC and balcony.

Austrian twin bed:  Typical of the region, they have one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.

Resort tax is paid locally and is approximately €3 per person, per day.

Depending on snow levels, it may be possible to ski back to the hotel, but this would be off-piste and recommended for more advanced skiers.

There is a regular free ski bus stop near the hotel for the public ski bus service (line 3) which finishes at 7pm. After this there is a pay for night bus

Free ski & boot storage for hotel guests can be found at the main Galzigbahn lift.

There are plenty of local taxi options (they will take skis) to help you get around too ( around 25 euros from St. Anton train station or the Galzigbahn).

The arrival days are Sunday for a 4 or 7 night stay or Thursday for a 3 or 7 night stay with SkiWeekends.

Check In: available from 3pm.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 11am.

There is a bag store at the hotel if you arrive early or have a late flight on your departure day, giving you the chance to maximise your ski time.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Innsbruck Airport (or Salzburg or Munich) with us, it will drop you right at the door of the hotel.

Transfer by train - getting to St. Anton is very easy, quick and cheap.

Get a 5-minute taxi (or 20 minute bus) from Innsbruck Airport to Innsbruck Hauftbahnhof, and then you have a 1 hour 10 minute journey direct to St. Anton. From here the hotel will collect you using the free hotel shuttle bus (between the hours of 8.30am and 9pm - this pick up must be arranged with us before travel), or you can use a resort ski bus.
