Hotel Le Gietroz

This family run hotel offers 14 cozy rooms, providing a welcoming base to explore the 4 Vallées ski area without breaking the bank.

The restaurant at the Hotel Le Giétroz is renowned for its great value local and traditional cuisine, with options available in the brasserie, dining room, café, or on the terrace. The café-bar is perfect for coffee, an aperitif, or a relaxed evening on the terrace, where you can join the locals who are incredibly welcoming.

Guests can enjoy a daily menu from Monday to Friday, and during winter, a special raclette evening. The dining room accommodates up to 50 people for private events.

The Hotel Le Gietroz is located in the village of Le Chable, 2km down the mountain from Verbier. The hotel is located close to the Le Chable-Verbier gondola.

• Distance to piste/lifts: the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Le Chable gondola, where you can access Verbier and Bruson
• Distance to resort centre: You can reach the centre of Verbier in 10 mins on the Le Chable gondola. Le Châble itself offers a few excellent spots for dining, drinking, and shopping, providing a relaxed alternative to the more bustling Verbier.
• Distance to ski hire shop: SkiSet Mountain Air Place Medran is located at the top of the Le Chable gondola

All rooms at the Hotel Le Giétroz feature private bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and modern amenities. 

Single, double & twin rooms are available.

Resort tax is paid locally and is approximately 2.00 CHF per person, per day.

You can arrive any day at the Hotel Le Gietroz with SkiWeekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations.

Check In: available from 2pm.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 11am.

There is a bag store at the hotel if you arrive early or have a late flight on your departure day, giving you the chance to maximise your ski time.

If you would like to book a Swiss return train transfer from Geneva Airport with us, it will take just over 2 hours, and is a cost-effective way of getting to Verbier.

From Geneva Airport you head to Martigny where you change for the train that brings you into to Le Chable. The train station is next to the main gondola, a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
