At the Lapponia Bar guests can enjoy a refined selection of cocktails and drinks. Meanwhile, the Izakaya-Stube pays homage to Japanese food culture, offering an Asian-inspired lounge experience that brings a touch of Zen to the Salzburg Alps.

You'll be staying on a half board basis with SkiWeekends, with a well-assorted buffet breakfast (cold/warm) and dinner.  Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10.30am and dinner is served from 6.30pm to 8pm.

The wellness area offers an ideal retreat, featuring an indoor/outdoor pool, a hot whirlpool, and an array of saunas, including a panoramic sauna with stunning views of the Schmittenhöhe. The Neue Post Hotel is located in the centre of Zell am See.

There are 30 stylish rooms at the Hotel Neue Post designed with an urban aesthetic combining contemporary style with alpine comfort:

Standard double room - Austrian twin bed, bath or shower/WC, partly balcony. Approx. 18-22m2, sleeps max. 2 adults

Superior double room - Austrian twin, bath or shower/WC, couch bed (sleeps one child), partly balcony. Approx. 25-30m2, sleeps max. 2 adults plus one child

Suite - Austrian twin in bedroom, pull-out couch in living room, Kitchenette, bath or shower/WC, balcony (NOTE: Minimum Occupancy 3 Full Paying Guests). Approx. 40-50m2, sleeps max. 3 adults plus one child.

All rooms at the Hotel Neue Post include a Bathtub or shower/WC, cable-TV, safe, hairdryer, phone, kettle. Some rooms have a balcony.

Resort tax is paid locally and is approximately €2.10 per person, per day (from 15 years old).

Ski passes can be booked directly with reception.

You can arrive any day at the Neue Post Hotel with SkiWeekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations (7 night minimum stays during peak weeks).

Check In: available from 3pm.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 11am.

There is a bag store at the hotel if you arrive early or have a late flight on your departure day, giving you the chance to maximise your ski time.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Salzburg or Innsbruck Airport with us, it will drop you right at the door of the hotel. Please note: due to traffic restrictions in Zell am See centre shared transfers drop off at the station. Feeder taxis are then used to complete the journey to the hotel, and are included in the rate.

Taking the train - the train option works really well for Zell am See. It takes around 1hr 40 mins from Salzburg train station, and the station in Zell is only a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

You will need to take a bus (20 mins) or a taxi from Salzburg Airport to Salzburg Hauftbahnhof (main train station).
