FIS Alpine Ski World Championships In Meribel Courchevel
THE ALPINE SKI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE COMING TO COURCHEVEL!
Dates: 9th February - 19th February 2023
The World Alpine Ski Championships are taking place in Meribel & Courchevel between 6th February and the 19th February 2023, and Courchevel in particular will host the opening ceremony, the Men's Super G, Men's Downhill, and the Men's Slalom.
We have two brilliant, large chalets located in Courchevel 1650, which is the perfect location to base yourself to catch all the action. Most of the testing will happen in Courchevel Moriond too, so keep an eye out for your favourite skiers!
Generally the World cup actually makes the slopes quiet as everyone stays in town to watch the races, so its a great time to ski!
We have two fantastic chalets in Courchevel 1650, both with wonderful panoramic views across the valley from the inside the chalet, and from the warmth of the outdoor hot tubs. Both chalets are very close to the lifts, slopes and the town, and both have also had a wonderful recent lounge / dining area refurb. There's no better place watch the Alpine Ski World Championship races.
With SkiWeekends, your chalet will be fully catered, consisting of a hearty breakfast, afternoon tea and home-made cake (in front of a roaring fire), plus a delicious 3-course evening meal with unlimited wine, all served up by a friendly chalet host.
Return Geneva airports transfers are included with each Courchevel chalet booking too, giving you great value for money!
***UPDATE***- the ultimate flexibility for chalet stays this February: Arrive at the newly refurbished Chalet Monique any day (except Wednesdays and Saturdays) this February and stay as long as you want!
