Booking your accommodation is only one part of a ski / snowboard holiday. Here are are other tips for keeping costs down!
- Try to arrive on a Monday - Thursday during the week for lower accommodation prices
- Flight prices during the week are around 36% cheaper on average compared to weekend flights
- Avoid travelling on a Saturday & Sunday if possible, to save you both money and time!
- Take an early flight out and a later flight back - that means you can ski on your flight days, and get more skiing in
- Pre-book extras such as ski hire and lift passes to save time and ski more
- Book your flights early - prices only go up!
- For families, look at flexible dates to minimise the time off school and avoid peak date prices
- For solo, keep an eye on specific trips & rooms with no spare bed supplement, and look at resorts with shared transfers or good train connections to keep costs down
