SkiWeekends are delighted to announce we are partnering with the fabulous Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards to offer our guests the chance to ski, stay and dine with him in Chalet Marjorie in Les Gets this January.
From stunt jumping over 6 buses to holding the British ski jumping record, Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards is a man of many talents.
Eddie was the first competitor to represent Great Britain in ski jumping for 60 years in 1988, achieving 73.5m in the Calgary Olympic Games. Not only that, he is also an accomplished skier, and was the subject of a Hollywood movie about his life (Eddie the Eagle, in 2016).
Eddie is a real friend of SkiWeekends. He has been skiing with SkiWeekends guests for several years, giving them the opportunity to stay in the same chalet, watch his movie with a Q&A and actually ski with the great man himself.
DATES & DETAILS
Eddie will be staying and skiing with Chalet Marjorie Guests from Friday 17th January 2025, for 6 days.
You can arrive in Chalet Marjorie to stay and ski with Eddie on the following dates:
- Thursday 16th January - stay for 3, 4 or 7 nights - VIEW ALL PRICES
- Sunday 19th January - stay for 4 nights, from £540pp - VIEW & BOOK
- Monday 20th January - stay for 3 nights, from £438pp - VIEW & BOOK
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- Daily hearty breakfast (always with a hot option), afternoon tea & homemade cake
- 3-course evening meals with unlimited wine (except Wednesday, which is the Chalet Hosts night off), as well as a speciality Savoyard night on the Saturday
- Dietary requirements catered for - including vegetarian, gluten free and vegan, amongst others
- Eddie will be eating with guests during dinner
- Shared, return Geneva Airport transfers
- Watch the Eddie The Eagle movie with Eddie, as well as a Q&A afterward (Saturday and Tuesday night only)
- All guests of all abilities will have the opportunity to ski for at least half a day with Eddie during their stay (this will be organised based on ability)
- Free bag store on arrival and departure day enabling you to ski before check-in and after check-out
