SNOW CONDITIONS IN KITZBUHEL
With skiing above 2000m, snow cover is generally reliable throughout the whole ski season. If not, then the resort has excellent snow-making facilities covering 80% of the slopes enabling the resort to stay open for almost 200 days each season.
In the coldest months of January and February, you will definitely be grateful for the warmer, South facing ski areas. However, over March and April, you will find the best snow is on the cooler and shady North facing trails as the snow on South facing slopes can get slushy towards the end of each day.
