Apres ski in Les Arcs

APRES-SKI IN LES ARCS

If you are after some après ski, Les Arcs certainly delivers. All of the Arcs have some sort of evening activity going on however we would recommend that for some livelier après ski in Les Arcs, you should head two, by two (Couldn’t resist!) to Arcs 1800 which has a wider selection of bars than the other Arcs, many of which offer live music. Among others, popular spots include The Golf Hotel, a pretty jazz bar that’s ideal for a quiet drink, and the lively J.O bar, which is an ideal choice for the extreme nighthawks as it is often alive and kicking until the wee hours. The Aubrevoir in Arcs 1600, with its live music and laid-back vibe, is also worth a visit and is a great venue for a post-ski beverage. Also, with its convenient ski in/ski out location, Arcs 1950 is an ideal location for Après ski. Here we would recommend that you check out the Irish bar named Le Belle Pinte for a drink or two!

LES ARCS NIGHTLIFE

Whilst not always known as a destination for lively nightlife, Les Arcs still has plenty to offer. With some great spots in each resort such as in Arc 1800, you are sure to find something suited to what you are looking for! In Les Arcs 1800 there is a bar called ‘Bar Casual’ which is part of the Hotel le Golf, which offers a cosy setting to put your feet up in the evenings. Largely known as a wine bar, Bar Casual still has a lot to offer not just for adults, but also children. With a great collection of books to read, board games to play, films to watch, piano to listen too, pool table to play on and plenty of other activities, Bar Casual is all about loosening up after a long day and indulging in the things you love most! There is also the ‘Bar King Mad’ bar in 1800 which has a rather livelier atmosphere compared to Bar Casual with DJ sets the norm as well as live bands and an annual mini-festival featuring MTV’s Dirty Sanchez. One thing is for sure, you will be kept partying until the early hours (2 am normally) before heading off to the next destination!

These other spots include the likes of the Apokalypse Bar in Les Arcs 1800 which stays open until 4 am, but other great spots include a couple of destinations in 1950. There is the ‘O'Chaud Lounge Bar’ which is a contemporary lounge bar with a great selection of cocktails made with fresh ingredients as well as a great wine and liquor selection. O’Chaud attracts a wealth of famous DJs and musicians and is quite unique in the area. The other is ‘Chalet de Luigi’ Bar again found in 1950 which stays open until 2 am and is also not a bad hangout for après ski. The Chalet de Luigi bar has a happy hour, and also has live sports on their big screen TV’s, live music and a pool table which helps create a great party atmosphere.
