Indoor Activities
Whether you want to relax, hit the gym, or go for a swim, Les Deux Alpes offers plenty of options. Head to Palais des Sports, the local sports center, which will keep you entertained with badminton, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and an indoor climbing wall (payable locally). If you prefer to unwind, take a yoga class or take your pick from one of Les Deux Alpes numerous spas.
You can also catch a film at the cinema or head to the bowling alley for some post ski entertainment.
Outdoor Activities
When it comes to outdoor winter activities, you're truly spoiled for choice. For a unique perspective of the resort, consider a horse-drawn sleigh ride, a guided snowshoeing tour, paragliding, or a scenic helicopter ride. In Les Deux Alpes, you can experience the pistes in extraordinary ways: take a ride in a snow groomer to discover the job of a pisteur, or book the First Tracks experience to hit the slopes early with the Ski Patrollers and delve into their exciting world.
For more adrenaline-fueled activities, try an e-bike on the snow, give ski touring a go, or test your skills at ice climbing.
For family-friendly outdoor fun, visit the big air bag park, the toboggan runs, or the open-air ice skating rink.
Pedestrian Lift Access
You don't need to ski or snowboard to enjoy the mountains. With a Pedestrian Pass, you can access a variety of high-altitude activities, no skiing or snowboarding required.
Take in the stunning views at 3,400 meters from the Belvédère des Ecrins viewing platform. While you're up there, stop by the Grotte de Glace (ice cave) at 3,200 meters to explore and discover incredible ice sculptures carved 30 meters beneath the glacier.
If you want to explore the mountains on foot, hop on a lift to access some breathtaking winter hiking trails.
Events
Les Deux Alpes hosts events throughout the entire season, from the End of Year Festival in December to La Patrolette in late March. Be sure to check the calendar for events happening during your stay.
