APRES-SKI IN LES GETS
Being a family resort, it’s perhaps a little quieter than the there larger French ski resorts, but après in Les Gets is definitely not something to pass by. It can sometimes be a little quieter in the week, becoming livelier at the weekends but regardless of when you’re there, there are plenty of bars to choose from.
Apres Ski Straight Off The Piste
L’Après Ski Bar Resto
Situated right at the bottom of the Chavannes piste, this lively après bar is the place to be in Les Gets. Live bands and DJ's play a couple of times a week, so head here at the end of the day and enjoy some après ski on their slope side terrace.

Le Boomerang
A lively Australian bar which serves up great cocktails. They frequently host events and live music, so be sure to check out what's happening during your visit.
Black Bear
Located just across from Boomerang, this popular Canadian bar features classic Canadian decor, including a huge moose head and a full-sized black bear. With a pool table, darts board, balcony and a terrace this is a lively place to be after skiing. They make a great Aperol Spritz.
Le Pub Irlandais
Nestled below Black Bear, this cozy Irish pub boasts its own microbrewery, making it ideal for sampling local beers. Known for its lively atmosphere, it also offers a vast selection of other drinks if beer isn't your thing- the mulled wine is particularly good.
Le Barbylone
Just a couple of doors down from Le Pub Irlandais, you’ll find Barbylone. This bar is known for its regular DJ sets, live bands, and major sporting events shown on big screens. It’s a lively and fun spot in central Les Gets with a great range of local beers.
Le Bar au Chamois d'Or
Inside the Chamois d'Or hotel, you'll find Le Bar, a cozy spot for wine and cocktails. Typically opening at 4pm, it's the perfect place to unwind after skiing with a drink in a rustic setting. If wine or cocktails aren't your thing, they also offer a selection of craft beers. On certain nights, you can enjoy live music as well. Definitely worth a visit!
Late Night Les Gets Apres ski
A lot of the bars above are open until late but if you’re wanting to keep the party going the there's one place to be in Les Gets!
Igloo Chalet Club
This is the only nightclub in the resort and it has been around since 1938! Usually closed on Mondays, but open every other day during the winter season from 11pm to 6am. As the name suggests it has a traditional chalet feel inside. The club hosts various special events like foam parties, themed nights, and performances by local DJs.
Alternative Les Gets Apres Ski
Bar Bowling
A locally owned underground bar featuring two bowling lanes, pool tables, and a darts board. Known for its themed evenings and loud music, this spot stays open until 2am. In the afternoon and early evening it’s a great spot for families, but as the night goes on, the music gets louder and the party begins.
