Lit up hotel restaurant in Meribel

PLACES FOR LUNCH

Méribel has plenty to offer food wise both on and off the mountain, though it can be fairly pricey sometimes, especially if you are heading Courchevel way. On the mountain, there are some absolutely stunning spots to look out over the valleys on a sunny day with two stunning restaurants coming to mind.

Le Panoramic at the top of the Saulire Express and Les Cretes on the Tougnette ridge towards Les Menuires both have beautiful terraces to sit and feast your eyes on the incredible mountain range surrounding you.

If you fancy a cheaper lunch, then head back down to Méribel where you can get great food and big portions for a reasonable price! Meribar provides a lovely little spot close to the slopes where you can sit outside and feast on pizzas, burgers and salads amongst other things on the menu.

Another place to head for is the Rond Point where they have a snack bar outside which sells stir-fry or burgers and chips, or you can enjoy the food from the restaurant out on the terrace as well!

PLACES FOR DINNER

Like the options for lunch, there is a vast array of cuisine on offer around Méribel whether you are looking for something cheaper or looking for a more refined experience. Starting off with a cheaper option at Scott’s which is part of the Hotel Doron and do some absolutely beautiful burgers, hot wings and nachos all without breaking the bank! Scott’s is also open for lunch and they also do some great cocktails which are well worth a try.

At the other end of the spectrum, Méribel has the L’Ekrin restaurant which is part of the 5* Hotel Kalia and also holds a Michelin Star. With great wine and exquisite food, this restaurant offers an incredible experience and it is a real treat.

With over 100 restaurants in Méribel, it would be impossible to try and mention them all! Instead, there are a couple of restaurants in the valley that are well worth checking out and can be easily accessed via a free bus.

Lodge du Village (or LDV) in Méribel Village has some lovely food on offer downstairs in their restaurant ‘La Terrasse la Brasserie du Village’ and is definitely well worth a visit, just be sure to book first to avoid disappointment! The other restaurant is further down the valley in Les Allues at the end of the ‘A’ bus line. Another one to book before you arrive, Tsaretta serve beautiful pizzas downstairs at the bar to eat in or take away, or you can eat upstairs at the restaurant from a seasonal à la carte menu and experience what one of the leading chefs'S in the valley, John Susans, has on offer. We can assure you that you will not be disappointed!
