APRES SKI IN MORZINE
Restaurants and bars are plentiful in Morzine and you won’t have to search for too long in order to get a taste of the widely renowned Morzine après ski scene. Even by French standards, Morzine has fantastic après facilities and if you're keen to sample the Morzine nightlife, there are a superb selection of popular bars and restaurants, all with their own little quirks and quiddities.
Apres Ski Straight Off The Piste
Le Tremplin
This is the go to après ski bar in Morzine. Located at the foot of the Pleney slopes, it’s known for its high-energy atmosphere, Dj’s and great selection of drinks. The large terrace looks onto Le Stade, the steep red home run into Morzine, making it a great place to kick back and watch people ski on their last run of the day.
L'Passage
Located at the top of the Super Morzine gondola this is one of the best spots for sunset drinks in the whole of the Portes du Soleil, with incredible views over Nyon, the Pleney and Mont Chéry. There is regular apres-ski vibes and good music or DJ sessions from 15:00 onwards. Grab a drink before catching the last gondola down.
Apres Ski Around Morzine Village
Bar Robinson
One of the best-known après ski bars in Morzine. Locally know as Robbo’s, this is a traditional French cafe run by three locals who remember the resort before it was popular. Although the bar has no music or entertainment, it offers super strength Mutzig lager making it a popular destination for anyone who's spent a long day on the hill.
Le Crépu
A classic ski bar in the town square. With it’s cosy chalet style interior and spacious outdoor terrace, it’s a great central spot to grab a drink with your friends after a day’s skiing.
The Cavern Bar
Self-named as the the liveliest bar in Morzine, apres here gets started from 4pm to 2am everyday in the winter season. There’s also live music every afternoon from 5pm; perfectly timed with their happy hour. Relax at one of their seven exclusive beer tables, where you can skip the line and enjoy your pint without the wait!
Dixie Bar
If you want good vibes and live music, this is the place to go. The line up and schedule differs from week to week so be sure to check out who’s playing when you’re in resort. There’s almost always something decent to catch within a few days. And keep your eye out for The Dixie Micks. This legendary band plays Irish folk music which the crowd love and gets everyone on the dance floor!
Tibetan Café
Another classic ski bar in Morzine. Open until 2am every night and with live music or a live DJ every evening, the Tibetan is a lively bar with an enormous range of speciality gins. It’s also a great place to watch live sports on the several HD TVs around the bar.
Café Chaud
This is a popular bar known for its fun and friendly atmosphere. It's a great spot for après-ski drinks and late-night partying, open until 2am. Regular live music and DJ sets keep the atmosphere lively and entertaining. The welcoming crowd and vibrant ambiance make Café Chaud a favorite among visitors.
Late Night Morzine Apres Ski
A lot of the bars mentioned above stay open until 2am but if you want to keep the good times going into the early hours, then there’s one place you need to go:
L'Opera Nightclub
This place doesn’t get going until well after midnight and stays open until 5am. It’s an iconic spot in Morzine and this club is renowned for filling the dance floor with its lively lineup of DJs and themed parties. Throughout the season, the club also welcomes a variety of international DJs for special sets. Conveniently located in the heart of town, it's the perfect place to extend your night out.

Le Coup de Coeur
With one of the longest wine lists in Morzine, this venue is perfect for a relaxing drink. Whether you choose to sit inside the bar or on the covered outdoor terrace, their team of experienced sommeliers are ready to help you navigate the wine list and find your perfect selection. Apres Ski in Prodains
If you're staying in Prodains you don't need to head over to the main village to get your apres ski on.
L'Adresse
Located at the foot of the Prodains Express Gondola this quirky outdoor bar is pumping from 4pm. With a lineup of DJs and local bands, it’s the perfect spot to dance into the evening. If you enjoy dancing on tables without the theatrics of La Folie Douce, this is the place for you. It’s definitely a favourite amongst some of us in the office; it offers good vibes and a great selection of drinks- their homemade mulled wine is particularly good.
Le Cable
If you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, visit Le Cable. It offers great beer, table football, and pool, making it a fantastic alternative for après-ski with a sports bar vibe.
