SNOW CONDITIONS IN MORZINE
Despite resort level being at 1000m, snow conditions are relatively steady. There is always snow at the top of the Pleney Gondola to ski on.
Additionally, the runs with the sparsest snow cover are now heavily populated with snow canons, which have enhanced snow conditions in these areas dramatically in recent years. Even more, the resort also boasts an extremely high standard of grooming so you're in safe hands.
The Portes du Soleil is a guaranteed snow resort which is great news for all skiers worried about early or late season skiing. With the higher resort of Avoriaz easily accessible too, there is little to worry about when it comes to snow cover.
Is Morzine snow sure? With Morzine receiving an average of over 400cm snowfall a year over the last 4 years along with snow cannons for the lower slopes, the snow in Morzine and nearby Avoriaz is generally reliable.
