SKI Area
Pas de la Casa is the highest resort in the Pyrenees and is known for its lively après scene. With access to the Grandvalira ski area – the largest in the Pyrenees, Pas de la Casa has many things to offer, including 210km of skiing, a fantastic altitude of up to 2640 meters and great snow all the way through the season. Pas de la Casa really is a great choice for your next ski break. Located at the base of the Grandvalira ski area, your ski pass will not only cover Pas de La Casa but the ski areas of Grau Roig, Soldeu and El Tarter as well as the Canillo ski area.
The ski terrain from Pas de la Casa is varied. There are some exposed sections - fantastic for those fine, sunny days and some beautifully wooded areas which provide great shelter when it is needed. The resort is well equipped with a high altitude and a considerable investment in snowmaking. This means that in general, the resort has a good level of snow, with 65% of the runs always being covered in the season. For the best snow conditions be sure to visit Pas de la Casa between February and March. The resort has 64 lifts, many of which are quick and modern, meaning the ski area operates efficiently and effectively, even in school holidays and peak periods. The lifts system includes a combination of lifts, drag-runs and chairlifts.

Advanced
Pas de le Casa has some fantastic off-piste options. Grau Roig offers some amazing off-piste runs which are great for experts who are wanting to experience something a bit more challenging. For an even more exciting adventure, Pas de la Casa also offers night skiing, two nights a week. For the adventurous skiers and boarders, there are two snow parks to be enjoyed. Pas de la Casa is home to a snow cross park; great for practising flips, jumps and tricks. Snow-boarding is particularly popular in Pas de la Casa as people come from far and wide to experience these renowned snow-parks - don't miss the awesome half-pipe, it's one of our favourites!
Intermediates
Pas de la Casa is perfect for intermediates or the transition between beginner to intermediate, with 32 runs to explore. There are plenty of red and blue runs which intermediates can experience which cruise nicely around the different areas of the resort. The ski area offers a well balanced mix of gradients that should keep every ability happy and is great for both nervours and confident intermediates to explore.
Beginners
Pas de la Casa is fantastic for beginners looking for lessons as there is the fantastic Pas de la Casa Ski and Snowboard School. The ski school is run by the official mountain company Grandvalira which have 7 schools across the neighbouring resorts. With a total of 450 instructors across the resorts, many of which are English speaking, Pas de la Casa is a fantastic place to learn to ski. The ski school is also well recognised for its extremely high standard of teaching. For skiing, there are 56 easy runs for beginners, offering wide, cruisy slopes to practice your technique on.
