ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS IN wengen
The Lauberhorn
Wengen is renowned for hosting one of the most iconic races on the World Cup Downhill calendar. The Lauberhorn run, the longest downhill course in the world, tests the limits of even the most skilled skiers. Each year in January, tens of thousands of spectators gather to witness this thrilling event, a true highlight of the season.
Later in the season, the Lauberhorn takes on a new challenge as participants tackle the legendary course in reverse, ascending from the finish line to the starting gate, retracing the path of this famous race.
