Laura Robinson - Reservations Manager"Ischgl is a snow-sure resort and gives great access to one of the largest linked ski areas in Austria. I love the variety of the Ischgl nightlife (from class to sass in 500m!), from the champagne hut to dancing on tables in Kushtall, Ischgl has one of the best apres scenes in Austria! And if you're a fan of Wiener Schnitzel, then you'll be in heaven in Ischgl!"

ISCHGL

"A skiing Mecca in the Alps" and "best ski resort in Austria" are just some of the ways Ischgl has been described. With a world-famous season opening and season closing party to sandwich their Easter mountain party, Ischgl is home to some of the best après ski in the world and has attracted the likes of Elton John, Muse and Deep Purple (to name but a few!) to come and perform for the crowds that show up in their thousands each year.

A ski holiday in Ischgl isn't just about the après ski though. This trendy mountain village has a lot more to offer. With some of the finest restaurants in the Alps, Ischgl is somewhat of a culinary hotspot with 5 restaurants that particularly stand out. There is plenty to keep yourself entertained if you don't ski or snowboard, from shops and cafes dotted to tobogganing, winter hiking and ice skating.

Ischgl is widely considered as a high-quality ski resort that can accommodate a wide range of different groups no matter what they are looking for. Furthermore, you can be sure that it will have snow whilst you are there during the season due to its favourable location. Why not enjoy a concert or two with stunning views and some fantastic skiing!

Ski holidays in Ischgl await!

SKI AREA OVERVIEW

The Silvretta Arena, in which Ischgl is based, is home to around 238km of some of the best pistes the Alps has to offer. This ski area is ideal for holiday-goers that are looking to get some miles under their belt, with over 80 runs to explore there is an abundance of skiing to be had!

The beginner area is based around the Idalp area and is accessed by taking either the Silvretta or Fimba gondolas from Ischgl. This means that beginners will need to purchase a lift pass in order to get to and from this area. There are over 100km of slopes to suit the more intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with all the slopes well-groomed and caked in snow.

Those that like to test their limits may be interested in paying a visit to the snowparks; One of which is home to one of the biggest in Europe, the PlayStation Vita terrain park. The Silvretta area is also home to some incredible off-piste which opens up a whole new host of opportunities which a local guide can help you unearth – this would provide plenty to keep the advanced skiers or snowboarders in the group more than busy!
